BSI Global Connect Conference

Connecting Global Teams Through Hybrid Video Production

Connecting global teams is a significant challenge for large organisations.

BSI required a way to bring employees together across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific for their Global Connect conference, creating a shared experience that felt engaging, consistent and accessible worldwide.

Working alongside Events Unlimited, White Video was commissioned to support the delivery of a global hybrid event, with video playing a central role in connecting audiences across regions.

The Brief.

BSI needed to deliver a global conference experience that would engage employees across multiple regions, time zones and roles.

The event needed to feel cohesive and professionally delivered, allowing audiences to access content, hear from leadership and interact with the wider business.

A key requirement was ensuring that video content could be delivered seamlessly across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific, combining live and pre-recorded elements into a single, unified experience.

Our Approach.

The project was built around a hybrid event model supported by a dedicated digital platform.

Working with Events Unlimited, we helped create an environment where employees could log in, watch live and pre-recorded content, engage with speakers and interact with each other throughout the event.

Video played a central role in this approach. Pre-recorded leadership content was captured in advance, while the live event was designed to integrate these elements seamlessly into the overall broadcast.

To create a consistent visual experience, we built a virtual studio environment using green screen technology, allowing all content to appear as though it was being broadcast from a single, central location.

Production.

Filming took place at BSI’s head office, where pre-recorded videos were captured with the CEO and senior leadership team.

A virtual set was created using green screen technology, providing a controlled and consistent visual environment that could be used across both recorded and live content.

To support the global delivery, additional studio setups were managed across the Americas and Asia Pacific, ensuring all feeds could be synchronised with the core production and integrated into the broadcast.

On the day of the event, the virtual studio was used to deliver a live broadcast to audiences across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific, with pre-recorded content seamlessly incorporated into the programme.

This ensured a smooth and consistent viewing experience across all regions.

The Result.

The final production delivered a global conference experience that successfully connected employees across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

By combining live broadcast, pre-recorded content and a centralised virtual environment, the event provided a consistent and engaging experience for all attendees, regardless of location.

The project demonstrates how hybrid event video production can be used to communicate strategy, connect global teams and deliver large-scale internal events with clarity and consistency.
