Marshall Motor Group

Communicating Organisational Change Across Large Teams

Communicating organisational change clearly is one of the biggest challenges for internal teams.

For Marshall Motor Group, the need was to deliver an important update to employee pay structure in a way that would be understood, trusted and engaged with across a workforce of over 5,000 employees.

To support this, White Video produced an internal communications video featuring Commercial Director Adrian Wellington, designed to communicate the changes clearly while maintaining a personal and accessible tone.

The Brief.

Marshall required a clear and effective way to communicate changes to employee pay structure across the organisation.

With a large and distributed workforce, traditional communication methods risked the message being misunderstood or overlooked, particularly when dealing with detailed and sensitive information.

The aim was to deliver a leadership message that felt direct, transparent and easy to follow, ensuring employees understood both the changes and the reasoning behind them.

Our Approach.

We developed a direct-to-camera leadership communication, allowing Adrian Wellington to speak clearly and confidently to employees.

Filming took place at a Marshall Motor Group branch, providing a real working environment that helped ground the message and make it feel relevant to teams across the business.

To support understanding, the video combined the leadership message with simple animated slides and supporting visuals, helping break down key points and reinforce clarity throughout.

Production.

Filming was designed to be efficient and focused, capturing a clear and confident delivery from Adrian while also gathering supporting footage within the branch environment.

The production balanced a professional, controlled setup with a natural tone, ensuring the message felt credible without becoming overly formal.

Supporting b-roll footage of employees working on-site was captured to add context and visual interest, while animation was used in post-production to highlight key information and ensure the message remained easy to follow.

The Result.

The final video provided Marshall with a clear and engaging way to communicate an important organisational change across a workforce of over 5,000 employees.

By delivering the message through video, the content helped improve understanding and ensured employees could hear directly from leadership in a consistent and accessible format.

The project demonstrates how internal communications video production can support change management by combining clarity, transparency and strong leadership presence.
