Bentley Motors

Long service awards film

Some of the most powerful brand stories don’t come from advertising campaigns — they come from the people who build the company every day.

Bentley Motors’ Long Service Awards recognise employees who have dedicated many years of their careers to the brand. The event celebrates the experience, craftsmanship and commitment that underpin Bentley’s reputation as one of the world’s most respected automotive manufacturers.

White Video was commissioned by Events Unlimited, in collaboration with Bentley Motors, to produce a corporate video for internal communications, designed to celebrate employees and be shown during the awards ceremony — capturing the personal stories behind decades of service at Bentley.

The Brief.

Working alongside Events Unlimited, Bentley’s internal communications team required a corporate video that would honour long-service employees while reinforcing the culture and values that define the organisation.

The film would be shown on the main screen during the Long Service Awards ceremony, meaning it needed to feel authentic, respectful and emotionally engaging for an audience made up entirely of Bentley colleagues.

Rather than producing a scripted corporate piece, the aim was to create an employee storytelling video — capturing real experiences, memories and the pride people feel in being part of the Bentley team.

Our Approach.

To ensure the stories felt genuine, we took a relaxed interview approach that avoided scripted responses or teleprompters.

Employees were encouraged to speak naturally about their careers at Bentley, reflecting on the moments, milestones and people that had shaped their journey within the company.

This conversational style is key to effective internal communications video production, allowing the content to feel authentic and relatable rather than staged.

By focusing on people and their stories, the film became a corporate culture video rather than simply a record of the awards ceremony.

This collaborative approach between White Video and Events Unlimited ensured the film aligned with the wider event experience while maintaining a strong focus on storytelling.

Production.

Filming took place at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, capturing interviews with long-service employees alongside supporting footage from across the factory environment.

Filming was delivered as part of the wider event production led by Events Unlimited, with video content designed to integrate seamlessly into the live awards environment.

This approach is typical of corporate video production in industrial environments, where location plays an important role in storytelling.

The on-site footage helped bring the stories to life, showing the workplace and surroundings where many employees had spent decades building their careers.

Post Production.

During post-production, interview responses were carefully woven together with cinematic b-roll footage to create a narrative that balanced personal storytelling with a strong sense of place and heritage.

The focus was on crafting a story-led corporate film that felt natural, engaging and aligned with Bentley’s brand.

The Results.

The finished film was presented during the Long Service Awards ceremony, where it was shown on screen to an audience of Bentley employees and guests.

By focusing on authentic voices and real experiences, the employee recognition video created a strong emotional connection and reinforced the importance of recognising the people behind the organisation’s success.

The video was very well received and stands as a strong example of how corporate video production for internal communications can be used to communicate culture and celebrate employee contribution.
